As a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization, the CCLC relies on individual contributions to support our innovative educational programs that strengthen personal, community, and global well-being.
The CCLC's funding opportunities:
- Unrestricted/General Fund
Provides the essential fuel to sustain CCLC operations.
- Capstone Funding for Heartwood Classrooms
The classrooms will complete a fully-equipped retreat center in far Downeast Maine, focused on education, ecology, arts, social justice, health, and wellness.
- TREE (Transforming Rural Experience in Education)
Our collaborative, place-based educational initiative that builds capacity within schools and across districts to create emotionally and socially supportive environments where all children can learn.
- Cobscook Experiential Program For High School Students
This program focuses on getting students outdoors, engaged in service-learning projects, and learning directly from people in our community.
- Scholarship Fund
Scholarships ensure access to all CCLC courses and programs.
- Jimmy Soctomah Memorial Scholarship Fund
Supports access for Passamaquoddy youth to all CCLC courses and programs.
